Your Moxie Indicator Just Got An Upgrade

An indicator update sounds like housekeeping. This one is not. The Moxie price signal arrows you have been reading for years are still there, and sitting next to them now is a second signal that used to live only in my head: the trampoline trigger, printed right on your chart.

Here is the mechanic. When price drops below the 50 SMA while the Moxie Indicator is still holding above zero, you have a potential trampoline setup. The trigger comes when price closes back above the 50 SMA. Flip it for the downside: Moxie below zero, price above the 50 SMA, trigger on the close below. That condition is what I want your eyes on, and now the chart calls it out for you instead of you hunting for it.

In this video I walk through the whole update, where to download it, how to import it into Thinkorswim, how to confirm you have the current version, and how to customize the markers into whatever shape and color you actually want to look at. I also spend time on RSP, the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF, showing both signals firing in real conditions, including a stretch of chop where the same trigger printed three separate times before price picked a direction.

That last part matters more than the install steps. A trigger is a condition, not a promise. It tells you where to look; follow through is what tells you whether it worked. Get the update on your charts, then let the signals earn their keep.

Last night I went live and covered the warning signs that show up before a market top, the pre-trade checklist I run before I take any signal, and how the trampoline trigger condition bars tell you a setup is arming before it fires. If you were not there, the replay is up now.
